Crow’s Nest
Description
A private island destination to really get away from it all
Peter Island Resort & Spa is set on a spectacular private island making this a truly unique holiday destination. It is ideal for both a sail and beach getaway, with the addition of exotic hiking and biking trails, along which you can discover much of the island’s rich diversity of flora and fauna.
You are encouraged to explore the beautiful beaches including our favourite, ‘Dead Man’s Bay,’ a half-mile long crescent, gloriously shaded by mature palm trees. The resort has been described as a paradise within a paradise as it boasts a selection of beautiful villas and suites, all of which are heavenly hideaways to escape to. The spa is spread over 10,000sqft and rests a mere 150ft from the water so you can enjoy the sound of gently lapping waves and admire the scenery at the same time.
The Crow’s Nest is possibly the most spectacular of all the accommodation. Set atop a promontory overlooking the impressive waters of the Sir Francis Drake Channel, this villa offers panoramic views of the entire British Virgin Islands. Accommodating up to eight guests, it is the ideal place for family or friends, with four private suites complete with jacuzzis and an outdoor pool, all enjoying a majestic position overlooking the resort’s private marina.
Offering accommodation starting at a modest 40sqm and going to a gargantuan 2,400sqm, Peter Island has something for everyone. Couples can luxuriate in the Beach Front Junior Suites whilst families can take one of the 3 villas and enjoy the resort’s facilities.
The Beach Front Junior Suites are the perfect Robinson Crusoe getaway and are right on the beach in the corner of Deadman’s Bay. They comprise a balcony or patio, two-person Jacuzzi tubs, two-person showers, king-size beds with plush bedding amenities, and a large sitting area, all with ocean views.
The villas are dotted around and two are located very high up on hillsides with awesome views over the neighbouring islands and sea. They all have private pools and are furnished to a very high standard with almost every facility and mod con you could imagine. Ranging in size from three to six bedrooms – ask us about the best one to suit your needs.
