WINE TOURS AND TASTINGS
The Castiglion del Bosco Wine Experience
Explore the art of wine making, retracing every step of the process from grape to barrel. In this seminar, participants visit the vineyards, cellar and aging room with an expert guide. The fascinating tour concludes with a tasting of six Castiglion del Bosco wines and a delightful culinary surprise.
Duration: One and a half hours
This experience can also be arranged in the guest’s villa.
Cheese and Wine Pairing
Wine and cheese are two of life’s great pleasures, thus finding the perfect pairing is a delicious endeavour. They have in common their origin from natural elements subjected to ripening, refinement and ageing, depending on the typology. Learning how to match different types of Italian cheeses with Castiglion del Bosco wines, including the limited productions of Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Millecento and Vin Santo sweet wine San Michele, is a sensory educational experience.

The Vertical Tasting
This extraordinary and private tasting is a must for wine lovers visiting Tuscany and seeking an unforgettable experience. You will learn about the attention to detail throughout the winemaking process by visiting the cellars with one of our wine educators and enjoy six of the winery’s finest vintages of our Brunello di Montalcino. During the tasting, you will be served local Pecorino cheese, Tuscan bread, our own extra virgin olive oil and honey.
Duration: One and a half hours
